Two clowns tell a story where comedy, love and dialog are visible without words. Circus stunt and music give shape to one dramatic work where circus becomes poetry. Aerial acrobatics, juggling and unconventional instruments weave the acts of this play where only the gesture allow the audience imagine situations, conflicts and solutions in a show delicate, with a touch of comedy and an attractive story where children and adults have fun alike.
Mandragora Circo is an independent theatre company from the city of Trelew, Chubut. Patagonia, Argentina, formed by Mariana Silva and Juan Cruz Bracamonte in 2002. In the year 2003 the company premiered the play “Mandragora Circus” a wordless performance that combines different kind of artistic expression. Since the premiere of this performance they have been presented it in Theatres and in National and International Theatre Festivals in Argentina, the Americas and Europe, performing in 20 countries during more than 12 years of continuous performances. This show was presented from Patagonia to Alaska, in a self-produced tour the company carry out driving all the continent in 4 years, from 2010 to 2014.
Currently the company is touring in Europe aiming to perform Mandragora Circus in all the continents.
